Today our Chairperson, Gary Stephenson, had the privilege to award our Football Development Officer, Mark Goodwin, the Club Person of the Year award.
Mark has headed up the development section of the club for the last 7 years, and has done a phenomenal job to bring new players into the Club. Our FUNDAYS sessions, for all children to development their football skills before joining a Under 7 team, has produced team after team of kids who just love playing football.
While presenting Mark with the award during the Mini-Soccer presentation day, Gary gave a brilliant summary of how important Mark’s work is to both our Club and the local community, “At some point, almost every child who plays for Cullercoats Football Club will have been coached by Mark”. That is testament to how much Mark has given to the Club over the years.
